inCyber Cup

     This year, once again, The Golf Club of New Jersey has joined forces with inCyber, Inc to present our biggest and most exciting competition ever. Styled after the PGA Tour's Fed-Ex Cup, this competition will reward both good play as well as opportunistic scheduling. Each event during the 2008 GCNJ Tour will have a certain number of inCyber points available ranging from 500 to 1500 points depending on the event. Event point values are currently available on the The Tour page and points at each event will be distributed amongst all players posting a net score. Based on your individual net score for the event, the top 10 net scores will split 50% of the available points for that week as listed below. Players finishing in the top half of the remaining field will evenly split 30% of the available points for that week; and players finishing in the bottom half of the remaining field will evenly split 20% of the available points for that week. Points will accumulate with each event you play and upon completion of the GCNJ Championship at Golden Pheasant on Sat, Sept 27th, the top 20 inCyber point earners will qualify for the playoffs and a chance to win big during the inCyber Playoffs which will begin on Sat, Oct 11th at Twisted Dune during the Silly Season.

     Upon completion of the regular season, the top 20 inCyber point earners will qualify for the playoffs. The playoffs will take place during regular Silly Season play at Twisted Dune, TBA and the Vineyards, encompassing 3 events in early October. (These events are open to all members as well). You may play in all or none of the events; however, the points earned in these events, competing only against the 20 qualifiers, will accumulate with your beginning playoff point total (below) to determine the final order of finish for the inCyber Cup. The 20 qualifying players will be reseeded before the playoffs begin as follows:
