The Golf Club of New Jersey, entering its 12th season of competition, invites its members to participate in 39 tournaments at some of the finest golf courses in New Jersey, as well as our 11th annual trip to the PGA Tour Superstore World Amateur in Myrtle Beach. The GCNJ will also continue its exciting 12-event “GCNJ Saturday-Series”, where the top finisher will represent the club at next years World Amateur, as well as the GCNJ Match-Play Series and the exciting “inCyber Cup” where the champion will earn the GCNJ’s biggest prize ever. If you want to simply give the GCNJ a one-day try, sign up as a “Member for a Day” and see what we’re all about.

SOME G.C.N.J. THOUGHTS TO PONDER:

The GCNJ offers you a guaranteed game 38 times this summer at the top rated courses in the area and at a very affordable price. Remember you pay only when you play! - The GCNJ is open to male and female golfers of all ability levels.

We have scratch golfers as well as 25 handicappers. The emphasis is on fun! - Many new members join as singles; however, you may join with your regular foursome... It is not necessary to join with four people and remember the guest policies are very liberal!- Don’t lose interest because you don’t think you can make all the events.

Although you are welcome to play every week our members attend on average 14-16 events per season. 14-16 events should easily be enough participation to gain entry into The GCNJ Tour Championship at year end where first prize is a free pass to next years PGA Tour Superstore World Amateur Championship in Myrtle Beach, SC for the winning team! - The G.C.N.J. will help to improve your game simply by playing different courses under tournament conditions!

Membership fees for The Golf Club of New Jersey's 2008 season are $210, which includes your 2008 USGA Handicap fee. Upon receipt of your application you will receive our membership packet which details the events of our tour, highlights our tournament formats and outlines our general club policies.

Golf Links, The Golf Club of New Jersey's newsletter, as well as tournament entries, tee times and results can be found on the club website.

Once you've entered an event, you simply go to the website and click-on the "tee time" button where you will find your tee time, pairings, directions to the course and other tournament information.

Like the PGA Tour, most members pick their events based on their personal schedule and on average our members play 14-16 events per year.

We have leader-boards at the turn, prizes and trophies at the finish and lots of fun in between. If you always wanted to feel like a PGA Tour pro and guarantee you'll "make the cut and play on the weekend", then join The Golf Club of New Jersey.
